Frankie Valli and his New Four Seasons Unforgettab
Last night, my husband and I went to Mohegan Sun Arena for a night out on the town to enjoy the music of Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock Live and the Four Seasons. We went to an Irish Pub to nosh a bit before the show at Mohegan Sun. The concert started a little after eight o'clock, (fashionably late) and what a show! The first thing I liked was that there was no starter act; it was just Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock Live and the Four Seasons. Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock Live, not only sang songs from the 60's which are on his new album that are so enjoyable, especially if you grew up in the 60's. His new Four Seasons, who were not only talented but sexy looking too, were introduced. Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock Live can still hit those high notes, and he can hold notes for a lengthy time without going flat or stopping; he's still got it in my opinion. He was personable with the audience, giving a great show that lasted from about 8:15 to 9:45, which included an encore performance. He sang our favorite song, "Your Just Too Good To Be True" and dedicated it to his audience. My husband and I commented after the show that we realize that Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock Live, while he is going strong, is up there in age and how many more years will he be able to keep performing; so we appreciated the fact that we got to see him last night. We are not gamblers, but we did enjoy watching some of the tables of the games like craps, roulette. We also liked Mohegan Sun better than Foxwoods because it's gorgeous but smaller and more personable. I'm going out this morning to buy his new CD, because it has the songs my husband and I grew up with. Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock Live, our hats off to you, and God bless you, you make Italian-Americans proud! We will definitely return to Mohegan Sun for future concerts.
